Versatile and determined the humans of Azeroth, are one of the shorter lived races. For the most part those belonging to the Alliance hail from the kingdom of Stormwind, Though not so long ago they ruled over much of the eastern kingdoms. Despite perhaps even becuase of there short life span humans master the arts of craftsmanship, mysticism and combat with a speed and aptitude that often astounds there longer lived counterparts. Playable human classes: Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock, and of course Deathknight Physical Features: ranging from 5''ft to 6''ft'9 they are not amongst the taller bracket of Species to call Azeroth home. Of the sentient races present on Azeroth the humans are the most physicaly varied, There body build in particular has more to do with there life style as of oposed to a racial mold, clearly present with many other races. This perhaps is becuase majority of Azerothian species where designed by the titans, while the humans appeared later from an unconfirmed source, making them the youngest of Azeroth's sentient natives. |

Maturity Humans tend to enter a stage of a maturity at the age of 13 and onwards. Females are said to mature about two years before males in a mental state, body wise the two mature at roughly the same rate. In saying that though maturity is purely a situational thing, Some having a childlike demeanor well into adulthood and some with small, thin 'childlike' bodies. It Depends on the human. Humans normaly dwindle in sexualy prowless between 40 and 60, woman mostly losing the ablity to have children between 45 - 55. Other It could be rumored that a Warlock could do themselves harm with conception/pregnancy due to a dark energy inside of them. This could result in impedance and miscarriages. Marriage It is typicle for two humans who are in loved to get married. If a human is in love with another race it would depends on their customs and the customs the couple choses to honor. (Which could very well be both.) |
Pregnancy
A woman will normally begin to show at around four months although depending on her build and the weight she gains she can show anytime between three and seven months, sometimes even more. Human woman normally give birth nine months after conception, maybe sometimes earlier and sometimes later. An extremely early pregnancy could result in the death of the child. Note: It would be only common knowledge that a Death knight of either sex would not be able to conceive a child. |
Inter-Species Conception Human and Dwarf - Unable to conceive together. Human and Night elf - Depending on the exchange of genes, a human and night elf couple could be pregnant for 9 - 14 months. Night elves themselves have a 18 month gestation period although a half elf child needs much less longer to develop thanks to their human genes. All the same it is hard for a human/elf couple to conceive, specially if the woman in the relationship is a night elf herself. Night elves have a very low conception rate and as an effect it would take a rather potent man and a lot of love making sessions to conceive. Human and Gnome - Unable to conceive together. Human and Draenei - Although possible, chances would seem unlikely. Between a Draenei woman and human man specially. Taken into account that Draenei, whilst immortal will only have roughly three children in their lifetime It would seem painstakingly hard for a human man to impregnant a Draenei woman before old age. They low conception rate however is hard to pin on the one sex, In saying that a Draenai man could be very futile or infertile, this resulting on a very high or very low chance of a human woman conceiving. Of course this is fantasy and it could very well happen (which would be so darn cute) If it was to happen, sources have indicated it could be anywhere between 12 - 18 months. Human and Orc - Proven to happen this could be quite common and is entirely possible. Due to Orcs and humans being very similar the pregnancy would be pretty much exactly like a human/human pregnancy. Thus a human/Orc pregancy is very real, with a normal level of conception and a 9 month gestation period. Human and Forsaken - Unable to Conceive together. Human and Tauren - Unable to Conceive together. Human and Troll - Though nothing has been told lore wise, after discussing with the other people helping me to write this we have decided that it could very well be possible for Trolls and humans to conceive. Due to Trolls having a similar lifespan we have decided that a 9 month gestation period is acceptable although after debate it has been decided that it would be hard for a Human/Troll to conceive (specially for the human, hopefully they don't die of exhaustion first >_< ) Human and Blood elf/High elf - Together these two have a low rate of conception. Also during the time the blood elves had no sunwell and drew strength from demonic power there was an increased amount of miscarriages. In saying this though, If on the off chance conception did happen (yay) it would be estimated to be much like the night elves, ranging from 9 - 14 months. Human and other - Other humanoid races such as Ogres, Gnolls, ect, ect. Are purely opened to interpretation, we think not so much but we could just as easily be wrong. |
