Description

The sons and daughters of Elune are a large bunch, spanning all over Azeroth and Outlands alike. Widely traveled you can find at leased one night elf almost everywhere. Known for their Druidic nature and commitment to their Goddess Elune and nature, they are very close to the Horde race Taurens. Night elves as we know them have been around for 10'000 years. While once the Night elves and Sun elves(blood elves) were one in the same 7000 years ago the blood elves were banished as they refused to stop wielding magic. The Night elves are a somewhat mysterious race and although sworn to the Alliance it has been said that they are the least trusted of the Alliance races.

Playable Night Elf classes: Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Druid, Hunter and of course Deathknight.

Physical Features: Tall, dark and mysterious are the sons and daughters of the night. Night elves are the taller of all elves, ranging between 6-foot all the way to about 7. They have skin in hews of blue, green and purple, allowing them to meld with the nature around them, leaving them as great scouts and hunters. They are very beautiful if not a little intimidating.

Maturity

Due to immortality that the Night elves had, lost and gained again (although at a lesser capacity) they tend to mature anywhere between 80 to 100 years. Being that the Night elves are a very Female based society, with woman making most of the higher ranks. it could be safe to assume the girls maybe mature in the mind, sooner the males. In saying this though that isn't a sure thing, merely an assumption.

Other

Due to the taint of the new world tree. Night elves are finding it incredibly hard to conceive.

Pregnancy

Night elf pregnancy was the only thing I was able to find coherant information on. Whilst it is unusual for Night elves to fall pregnant, specially considering the taint of the new world tree. If a Night elf woman were to fall pregnant she would carry the child for up to 18 months. If a Night elf were to breed with another race, the gestation time may be altered.

Marriage

There are no marital ceremony's in Night elf society, marriage isn't something that happens. However Night elves do take on one partner and are normally loyally faithful to them until they are parted.

Inter-Species Breeding

Night elf and Human - Depending on the exchange of genes, a human and night elf couple could be pregnant for 9 - 14 months. Night elves themselves have a 18 month gestation period although a half elf child needs much less longer to develop thanks to their human genes. All the same it is hard for a human/elf couple to conceive, specially if the woman in the relationship is a night elf herself. Night elves have a very low conception rate and as an effect it would take a rather potent man and a lot of love making sessions to conceive.

Night elf and Draenei - Unable to conceive together.

Night elf and Orcs - After much discussion we've diced that night elves and orcs cannot conceive together. In saying this though Night elves and humans can and humans and orcs can. So this one is really up to you guys. I would love to hear of anyone with a relationship like this.

Night elf and Troll - Due to rumors of Trolls evolving (or maybe de-evolving) from night elves leads me to say that this could very well happen. In saying that though I'm guessing it would be very hard to conceive. If conception did happen though the gestation time could range anywhere between 12 and 18 months.

Night elf and Blood elf - Although this is possible we've decided it would be very unlikely, due to the conflicting magics which pervade the two species of elves.
